First : Main Completed Projects:

Works Related to the Refinery Units:

Purchasing the following replacement equipment for Unibon Unit, at a total cost of JD (7.145) million :

  • Purchasing two reactors to replace existing ones , at a total cost of JD (4.6 ) million.
  • Purchasing three heat exchangers and stainless steel piping circuit to replace existing ones , at a total cost of JD (2.2) million.
  • Purchasing four air cooled cells No. 308-E14A//D , of updated design to replace existing bundles for Unibon Reactor Product Condensers, at a total cost of JD (0.345) million.
  • Purchasing and installing a (2.4) MW diesel driven electric generator for the power station, at a total cost of JD (1.8) million.
  • Purchasing and installing a Desalter Plant to remove salt from crude oil in Topping III Unit, at a total cost of JD (1.3) million.
  • Purchasing the following spare equipment for various Refinery units : air cooled heat exchangers, four air cooled cells, at a total cost of JD (660,000)
  • Purchasing two fire fighting multi purpose vehicles (powder / foam), at a total cost of JD (600,000).
  • Purchasing (48) radars for level and temperature measurement and installing them on the tanks, at a total cost of JD (500,000). 
  • Purchasing and installing two diesel engine driven main fire fighting pumps, at a total cost of JD (280,000)
  • Purchasing five spare pressure vessels for various Refinery units to replace existing ones, at a total cost of JD (250,000).
  • Purchasing soot blowers for steam boilers Nos. 7001 and 7002, at a total cost of JD (200,000).
  • Adding a new crude oil tank to Crude Oil Receiving Station, using tank No. 15, at a total cost of JD (180,000)
  • Installation and startup of distributed control system (DCS) for boiler No.7004 , at a total cost of JD (100,000)
  • Purchasing two submersible water well pumps, at a total cost of JD (75,000).
  • Purchasing three rubber lined pressure vessels for Utilities Unit No. (2), at a total cost of JD (70,000).
  • Converting Tank No. 35 for MTBE and unleaded gasoline storage, at a total cost of JD (70,000).
  • Installing a new fuel oil line to supply Third Expansion Project Units, at a total cost of JD (50,000).
  • Purchasing and installing new trays for Waste Water Stripper(2) of Water Treatment Unit to improve its efficiency , at a total cost of JD (50,000).
  • Purchasing and installing an industrial water pump and constructing a water collecting pit, at a total cost of JD (50,000).
  • Purchasing two electrical transformers (1250 KVA) for sub-station, at a total cost of JD (33,000).
  • Purchasing and installing automatic water draining valves for one crude oil storage tank at the Refinery, at a total cost of JD (30,000).
  • Replacing part of blow down pipe line of old Refinery units, at an estimated cost of JD (30,000).

  • Construction Works:
  • Levelling and re-asphalting   damaged roads and yards, and renovating existing curbstones and walkways in the Refinery, at a total cost of JD (744,000)
  • Civil works for the upgrading of cathodic protection systems project in the Refinery, at a total cost of JD (346,000).
  • Rehabilitation of the new canteen building for the Refinery army guard, at a total cost of JD (178,000).
  • Upgrading the capacity of Crude Oil Receiving Station by adding (6) unloading points and installing steel supports for fire fighting foam system, at a total cost of JD (166,000)
  • Various works including the construction of inspection pits for vehicles in the Refinery, installation of 20" UPVC drainage pipe for the draining of Refining water, replacing damaged asphalt pavements with reinforced concrete pavements, maintenance and reasphalting service roads in the Refinery, construction of two offices for loading area exit gate, maintenance of Operations Offices, construction of reinforced concrete cable trench in Topping (1) unit and other works, at a total cost of JD (155,000).
  • Maintenance of the employees' residential apartments at Aqaba, at a total cost of JD (148,000) .
  • Infrastructure for the Refinery's computer network upgrading project, at a total cost of JD (140,000).
  • Construction of the infrastructure for installation of radar level gauges on the Refinery tanks, at a total cost of JD (134,000).
  • Construction of independent supports for the cooling water rings of LPG spheres (S301, S302, S304) out the Refinery Site, at a total cost of JD (98,300).
  • Building offices outside Refinery Main Stores hangars, at a total cost of JD (97,000).

 

  • Construction of a fence and gates for the Company’s farm, at a total cost of JD (84,900)

 

  • Replacing the furniture and cupboards of three halls in the Main Laboratories of the Refinery, at a total cost of JD (80,000).

 

  • Connecting sewage systems of loading and unloading buildings at the Refinery, as well as Marka Gas Station, with the public sewage system, at a total cost of JD (79,000).

 

  • Repaving and re-asphalting roads and yards around LPG cylinders filling station No. (2) at Zarka Site, at a total cost of JD (78,000).

 

  • Various works: Renovation of Residential Area telephone network , re-asphalting yards in Amman LPG Filling Station and construction of reinforced concrete manholes at Aqaba South area , …etc., at an estimated cost of JD (54,000).

 

  • Civil works related to installing additional Tank No. (15) at Crude Oil Receiving Station, at a total cost of JD (53,800).

 

  • Construction of for LPG cylinders storage yard at Amman LPG filling station, at a total cost of JD (50,000).

 

  • Maintenance of houses in the residential area, at an estimated cost of JD (50,000)

 

  • Maintenance of rain water channels at storage tanks area of the Refinery, at a total cost of JD (39,250).

 

  • Construction of a concrete room for the main electrical control panel of Crude Oil Receiving Station, construction of a vehicles’ ramp for entrance to bunded area of fire water tank No. 60, and maintenance of reinforced concrete ground slabs in Topping (1) unit, at a total cost of JD (36,000) .

 

 

 

Second :Projects in Progress:

 

Works Related to the Refinery Units:

 

  • Construction of (4) LPG spherical tanks, of 8000 tons total capacity, at
  • a total cost of JD (27) million. The project awarded to Consortium of Lotte Engineering and Construction Co., and Hantech Co. of Korea.

 

  • Upgrading the capacity of Asphalt Unit from (800) tons per day to (1,100) tons per day, at a total cost of JD (650,000).

 

  • Purchasing a reactor for Naphtha Hydrotreating Unit, at a total cost of JD (375,000)

 

  • Modifying fire fighting systems of storage tanks, at a total cost of JD (180,000).

 

  • Consulting services specialized in FERM-Fire and Explosion Management to develop a system for preventing and fighting fires and explosions, at an estimated cost of JD (156,000).

 

  • Purchasing updated in design two Stage Regenerator Cyclone system for F.C.C. Unit, at an estimated cost of JD (150,000).

 

  • Purchasing studded tubes for Naphtha Unit heater to improve its efficiency, at an estimated cost of JD (60,000).

 

  •  

 

  • Works Related to LPG Filling Stations, Factories, Airport Service Stations  and Aqaba Depots:

 

  • Construction of two gasoline storage tanks at South Aqaba Depot and two jet fuel storage tanks at Queen Alia International Airport JPRC Station Project, at a total cost of JD (10.4) million.

 

  • Purchasing and installing fire detection and alarm systems, a fire pump driven by diesel engine and a jokey pump at Main Port Depot, at an estimated cost of JD (250,000).

 

  • Upgrading of loading platforms at Aqaba South Depots, at a total cost of JD (125,000).

 

  • Construction Works:

 

  • Renovating Crude Oil Receiving Station, at a total cost of JD (342,000)

 

  • Protection of control rooms in the Refinery of the risk of explosion at an estimated cost JD (150,000).

 

  • Various works: Construction of a reinforced concrete wall for the diked area of a fire water tank at Refinery site, civil works to separate the Residential Area from the Refinery , increasing the efficiency of oil separation in the sludge drying ponds in the Refinery, renovating offices of fuel orders in Amman, Irbid, and Zarka, …etc., at an estimated cost of JD (140,000).

 

  • Construction of a chemical materials’ hangar at the Main Stores of the Refinery, at an estimated cost of JD (74,500)
